  6. ive played 2 of those G&L's, One Black Hollowbody...Which i can still buy for $1200aus!!!! and a Solidbody Transparent Burst which was one of the trial basses when i bought my kubicki, and, well, i dont mind them, but they're not something id drool over..i admit it had a pretty sweet slap tone...but just felt wierd, like huge and blocky

    I picked up a Musicvox Space cadet 4-string off Ebay mostly because i liked what I thought was a Tele shape. In person, it looks more like a Les Paul. I got the silver sparkle, attached is the gold but you get the idea.

    Fernandes used to make a bass called the Baron. It was also very Telecaster-ish and it had a pickguard.

    Hey Smakbass that is going to be really nice. Is that the "AAA" birdseye neck? I have a Warmoth bass coming together soon and will have the AAA Birdy neck. I was just curious on the concetration of the figuring.
