    LOL ..

Jack Black is such a dork.

Rented the movie last night and watched it ... felt like for awhile I was watching a wanna be version of The Who's Tommy.

I gotta tell ya though that boy can sing .. and come up with really interesting stuff!

  2. I actually was dissapointed in the movie, I expected something better.

    another vote for "disappointment."

  7. I loved Jack Black in "High Fidelity" and with the possible exception of "School of Rock", have been kind of disapointed in his career.

No doubt -- "Hi Fidelity" has been his best work so far. Hilarious.

I liked it enough, but the only scene that had me laughing hysterically was when he was a child and busted into the dining room rocking out.

... that and when he was talking to his Dio poster.

  12. I thought Jack was great when he was on Mr. Show.

  13. I thought it was ok...I was hoping it would be better...

Saw Tenacious D years back in a small little bar. They were amazing. Not only are the funny as hell but they're talented muscians too. Just a great act. Jack Black is a talented dude.

  17. I liked it a lot. The trip to Guitar Center was great and so was the recording part. ("Did you get it!? DID YOU GET IT!?")

Most of that stuff would not be as funny to a non-musician.

They're great live. I went right after the movie opened and their performance was a rock opera based on the film. The band was really tight too. Jesus can shred. :D

I didn't love it, didn't not like it. It was a movie I enjoyed, I'd watch it every once in a while.
