I just switched from a heavier gauge to a lighter gauge in my ray and now it feels like my strings are really tense and tight. What do I do to change this?
  2. it may just be the nature of those particular strings...did you switch brands?
  3. Change back? There isn't really a lot you can do I don't think. Its a lot about physics and the mass per unit length of the string, etc.

Kinda odd that there's more tension with the lighter gauge, generally its the other way round. Like SwilsonR said, its probly that particular make, possibly try another brand if you're looking particularly for a lighter gauge with a specific feel (and tone). How long have they been on, they may need to settle a little bit.
