Is there a pictorial listing/naming all the parts of a bass? For instance, and as bad as it sounds :p , I have no idea what the nut is. :bag:

It's not stupid either, we all had to learn some how!

This is a nut and where it's located on an instrument!

Glad to help out. I think I've named most all of the major parts. Between what Treena posted and what I have you've pretty much got it covered.

    !!Knowledge is power!!

    :bassist:

P.S. the fretboard is on top of the neck.

The nut, that's usually the person playing it, right? :)
