Thanks everyone. I’ve been on TB for awhile, but just found this thread. Former drummer turned bassist. Gigged heavily with a local weekend warrior band for about 5 years as their drummer. I’m now playing bass in a new start up band, very early in the process. And hoping this mess clears up eventually so we can get back on stage.

Originally from El Paso, currently in Round Rock, 45 minutes from Killeen. Our son was at the Hood twice, so we know the area. Are/were you army or just happen to have lived both places?
Still am, I miss Central Texas. Can't get out of El Paso fast enough. Spent 12 years in the Hood area and all over Austin. My inlaws are in the Spicewood area so I'm still out there a bunch.
We have godkids in the Spicewood area.
