    sweet man, thanks for the info. did you custom do those EMGs in your precision? I used to have a precision and for some reason it sucked, like the sound did. it played real good, but the pickups sucked. and if you did how much did they cost? for the labor and the pickups.

    Uh, I think this one's pointed at me. I got a set of ivory colored EMG's cheap from Ebay. They didn't come with pots, so I got a set from an EMG dealer. EMG has some wiring diagrams on their website, so wiring them up wasn't too much trouble. I didn't want to rout my Precision body, so I made a battery clip for a little 12v. battery I found at Home Depot. Works great.
