I want to thank you all for the comments and critiques for the new logo I was working on. I want to thank stflbn for coming up with the finished product. This is again furthering my roots here with talkbass you helped pick it out.. I just put one on my SX to see what it would look like on a colored headstock with a bass clef for fun and I put one on a Squier neck I own to see what it would look like on a plain neck.. I think it flows well with both..
I love it! Sweet as hell, I'd keep the bass clef on your basses, and add a matching treble clef on your guitars.
ahaha I was thinking of something like that maybe not as wild or big as that one.. But more then likely just the logo.. But I like the bass clef
Can you do this logo in white with the accent line as on you website? I think that would look even better on, oh, say, a sonic blue jazz bass.
hahaha RS I dont think printers can print in white ink I can how ever look and see if there is white water slide paper which I think there is.. GO GO Ebay..
But the logo [name] gives it away. Do people really want others to know their instrument has been made to look older on purpose?
The font seemed a little "thin" at first, but it's grown on me after a few minutes. I think I like it. VintagedGuitars. Great name.
For $7, you should go ahead and register vintagedcustominstruments.com and have it redirect to your main site, just so nobody else registers it! I was annoyed when somebody else registered freefiona.org, and they wanted $5k for it, so I said no thanks... Wish I'd thought to do that when I got .com!
if someone doesnt want a logo that is an option, I dont have to put it on, but most ask for the logo.. Either or customers choice.
