i picked this baby up at a bargain!

    Photo239.

its a little beat but nothing i cant fix. i was gunna put clear coat nail polish were the paints to chipped to stop further chipping. anyone got other suggestions?

also i dont think the neck is original to the bass. the neck says precision bass and doesnt have mark hoppus on it. it also made in mexico, i though the hoppus bass was crafted in japan.

either way im pretty happy with my purchase, cant wait to change these strings though.

i also been thinking of putting a badass bridge on it, thoughts?

    THANX for l00king!

  2. Congrats! Looks great! :D
FYI, the Hoppus was indeed MIM (didn't say Hoppus on the neck... just the neckplate)
and was an excellect Fender... one of the few I really like.
    Gotta love that Seafoam Green!
    Peace

Nice score, but why change the bridge, unless there's a problem. The color is awesome, and for a P bass, the pickguard is unusual. I like that.

Nah, don't change the bridge, unless it gives you trouble.

Especially for a big ass one. Sustain is overrated.;)
