Thanksgiving meals are quality. The process starts off with the farmer asking the turkey if he can use its body for food. The Turkey responds by saying "Yes, but you must use my body for food and honor my soul". The killing and defeathering processes of the turkey then begins. The head is removed and tossed in the trash can, and then a few days later the turkey ends up in the store for purchase and consumption.

The potatoes are good too. Some people like them mashed up and some people like then baked. Usually when you eat a baked potato you cut a little slit down the middle of it . Then some people place butter in the crevasse for extra flavor.

Corn is good also, but everyone knows that already. It can come on the cobb or in individual kernels. Rumor has it you can but the seeds in the microwave and it will pop into a delicious "popcorn" fluff.

And then of course you get pie for dessert. Then sleep time.

Does anyone else make papas con chiles? They are beyond awesome. The potatoes would be glad to be cooked for this...if they were...you know...able to be glad.

For all quantities use what looks about right.

1.Get a whole heapin' bunch of potatoes.
    2.Bake 'em.
    3.Mash two-thirds of 'em.
4.Add butter, sour cream, and cream cheese until they are just about perfect for your preferences.
5.Add chopped green chile peppers. Use the canned ones, not fresh.
6.Cut up remaining potatoes in 1/2" cubes and stir 'em in.
    7.Put cheddar cheese on top.

    Manna.

  6. For Papas con chiles, sweet potatoes work very well too. Not that I have any understanding of what the hell thanksgiving is all about, being British and all.

    Still, food is good!

  8. The best thing about Thanksgiving food is:

    THE NEXT DAY !!!

    I love leftovers. :hyper:

I'm surprised no one has written a song about leftovers.
