That Ampeg warranty question.....

    I can't find the thread that I wanted to answer "later when I had time".

    Anyway, as far as the unit with no warranty card....

    All you need is a receipt from an Ampeg dealer from whom it was bought new within the warranty period.

    If you can't get a local authorized repair place to accept that, have them call Ampeg service....it will get straightened out.

    Quote from Service Manager:

    "If he purchased the amplifier within the past five years from an authorized dealer, he only needs to have the bill of sale, receipt."
