I can't find the thread that I wanted to answer "later when I had time". Anyway, as far as the unit with no warranty card.... All you need is a receipt from an Ampeg dealer from whom it was bought new within the warranty period. If you can't get a local authorized repair place to accept that, have them call Ampeg service....it will get straightened out. Quote from Service Manager: "If he purchased the amplifier within the past five years from an authorized dealer, he only needs to have the bill of sale, receipt." Info on the warranty can be had from us via email at email@example.com or call (800) 738 - 7563 between 8:30am and 5:00pm CST. It's also on the Ampeg website , Select "Products", "Warranty Information", then "click here to view the entire warranty policy."
