You know which I mean the ones you always see Lenny Kravitz bass player with or Dirk Lance on Morning View Sessions.

What model are they reissue? Custom?
    How much do they cost?
    Where can you get one?

BTW don't need one with all the metal bits on it but would be nice.

That would be a vintage (60's?) Jazz Bass. Good luck finding one for under $3K. There are no matching headstock reissues. I'd look around on EBay, you might find a deal. I bet you could get them from the Fender Custom Shop, but they're about 3K, too. If you absolutely NEED one (which you DON'T, it doesn't change the sound at all) you could order a matching headstock bass from Warmoth. Those basses you assemble yourself and the parts usually run >$1000.

    You're welcome. :D

Yer but it's not a jazz. Those prices are way to expensive for a bit of paint I'll just buy a plain one. Do any companies make jazz bass copies with coloured head stocks for no more than $800?

You could allways just buy a Fender, and have the headstock refinished. It shouldn't cost too much.

Yeah the Ice Blue Metallic ones...forgot about those, but they're still 1200 bucks (out of the 800 price range)

I only said 800 if it wasn't a fender. Do mars still have any of those basses.

Is that what the bassist in Conan O'Brien's band plays?

We make do make Jbass necks (at Warmoth) and have a full paint + finish shop. A replacement neck w/ matching PH finish should run around $250.
