Last nite i was reading a Fender catalog. And the Fender Roscoe back got my attention again. I have a thing for this bass, that's sure.

What i would like to know is this:

on the catalog there was a little explanation of how the electronics work. i understood quite everything. but i would love to have some info about the pull switch of the tone control.

what does happen when that switch is engaged?

    thanks!

The switch built in to the tone control adjusts the balance between the pickups when both PUs are selected to be on by the PU selector switch. It reduces the neck PU volume a bit to make the RB5 sounds a bit like a Jazz bass with the volume of the neck PU reduced a little.
