  1. Just got a EHX Bass Micro Synth and had it on this setting where it kept feed backing well I stopped the feedback then spoke to my friend and my voice was amplified through the amp! I think my pick ups are some how picking it up, but that's just a guess i havent a clue how it happened. Anyone had the same thing happen to them?
  2. Not with my bass micro sytnh, but it happens with my kubicki all the time.
    Active circuitry plus good pickups.
At some sound frequencies it start to sound like a mic.
    Well, not really.. :)

But it's common, specially with guitar players.

once our old guitarist, hu was playing an Epiphone Casino, put lots of delay and reverb on to play a song and when he spoke it came throught the amp, all eerie like.
  4. Try switching on a delay and yelling into your pickups!

They'll pick up any vibration of the string and any vibration of a magnetic field in close proximity. Sound pressure wave can make the strings vibrate in sympthy, and EMI can sometimes create magnetic fields I guess!
