    Yes.. I did this thread about 2 years ago. But you know what, with so many people scoring Zons these days(me, fhodson, neptoon, boogie), I had to create this thread!!!

    Bass: Zon Legacy Elite IV Built on December 2001
    Body: Mahogany
    Neck: Graphite Phenowood Fingerboard
    Top: AAAAA Quilt Maple
    Electronics: Bartolini NTMB 3-Band Preamp
    Pickups: Custom Bartolini Soaps made for Zon's specs
    Bridge: Zon Custom Bridge

    hey DarkMazda, what is that one on the right? Looks like a Zon, but the headstock is different and you didn't describe it..... It an older model?
     
  7. I really like mine. Great sustain and a very expressive fretless tone. Beautiful high register. Cuts thru very well. If you're considering a fretless, I would advise checking them out.

    DM, I have thought of starting one of these once or twice. Thanks for starting this thread!:)

    Sonus Custom fretless, piezo bridge, Polyfusion preamp, redwood burl top, swamp ash back, phenowood board with redwood 'stealth' lines.

    its my Salas Custom IV. I asked Tim Salas if he could build me a bass with a Legacy body (since i had no $ for a Legacy or any Zon).. and thats the outcome
