Has anyone ever used an attenuator - prefferably a hot plate - for a bass tube amp?
I want distortion but I was trying to get a more natural distortion out of my SVT instead of super processing it with the bass pod XT live.

    Thanks, Aaron

  2. A search will give you more detailed answers, but the short version is: it won't work.

  3. Ive used a Marshall Powerbreak with a V4BH and it was very cool for recording, but you might have a hard time finding an attenuator that can handle more than 100 watts.
