    Edit:

I just expanded them to 5 year intervals so there will be less threads.

    I have:
    1965-1969
    1970-1974
    1975-1979
    1985-1989
    1995-1999

    we still need:
    Before 1950
    1950-1954
    1955-1959
    1960-1964
    1980-1984
    1990-1994
    2000-2004
    2005-2009

    /edit

Each year should have its own thread so that we can see what was being made when.

I opened 5 threads for years though I could have done more (1997, 1989, 1979, 1971, 1969.) Feel free to start your own year thread if the year hasn't been done yet and if you are/were the owner of the pictured bass for that year. So we will be waiting or the 1951 thread to open when someone here who owns one makes the thread... after that any pics of anyone's bass is fair game.

Need better pics but this is my all original 1971 p bass in superb condition. It is actually partially taken apart here so I def need new pics.

Here are some pics of my 1972 hagstrom h1b - apparently around 700 made only for the Canadian market. Note the 4 bolt neck. I didn't take the pics, the previous owner has them posted on his site. I've done a bit of recording with it, and it sounds really decent - very Motown kinda farty with flats, and it can get pretty bright with grounds. I bought it with my last $300 (at the time) a coupla years ago:bassist:.
