Not really familiar with 80’s ACC gear. Hopefully someone else can assist.
  2. Where did the band go? Oh yeah the guitar player started to play :(

Just scored a JBL K140 for 50€. A steal? Bought it from the same guy where i got my 2nd E140. Didnt know that one was also for sale, that could have saved me 200 km driving lol. Now I have the 2 original Eminence drivers, 2 E140s and 1 K140 to experiment with in my 406w. Keep my eye out for a 2nd K140.

  7. I'd posted before with this rig, the Trace head sharing duties... since I'd got the 370 serviced I ran it yesterday alone, powering the 2 cabs, a 4 ohm 210 and an 8 ohm 15 E140 in old modded Trace cab.
Played the MIJ Fender... sound was like you read about.

Sweet. My 270 should be ready any day now, can't wait to put my 406w to the test with it. I'll probably load my 201 cab with the 2 Eminence drivers I pulled from the 406, or maybe the K140 and one Eminence.

Since this is the Acoustic Club, I thought I'd tell everyone I just got my B410C cabinets!
Can't wait to hook them up to my VB2.

Yes you’ve come to the right place to share your excitement because not only is this The Acoustic Club, but I, like you happen to own a VB2. Small world. Be sure to post a review of how that lethal sounding stack performs!

BTW I have my VB2 sitting on top of my 320/402 stack because I love the way it sounds with the 402 cab. The 402 came to me loaded with very nice EV Force 15s. The tube amp sings.

Have you ever wished you had a Fender or Ampeg with 300 tube watts? Just curious. Cheers my friend!

Yeah, I admit that openly. A vintage tube amp would be on my long wish-list IF I had the room and/or money.
Fortunately vintage Acoustic stuff ROCKS for my vintage amp need and I have a very nice collection.

Finally got the message that my 270 is ready. Fully recapped, new power cord, and no more bang when switching from reverb to fuzz. Sets me back 190€, around what I payed for my 2nd gen 150 in top shape

My 270 has such amazing tone with the 406wide. I love the 330/402 combination also, but the 270 just has an amazing voice imho. Think you’ll be pleased.

Thanks. It has been fully recapped, and apparently it were the carbon resistors that gave the noise as they don't age too well. Should be good to rock for a few more decades.

I have both ... the 200s is just a jewel of an amp, nothing like that sound, but only with the matching cab. The Acoustic is the same wattage just as loud and gets used with more cabs and on more gigs.

Wow, we might have to start a "I own an Acoustic cab and a VB2" club. :D

  20. Does anyone here have an idea of the internal volume of a 106 2x15 cab?
