Thanks! That 140 is kind of a surprise...
I was able to gig my 320/406w stack earlier this summer. This was before my 402 purchase and I was at an outdoor event. Large commercial portable stage and big p.a.
I’ve played this same event each year for 6 years now with the same sound company and same tech. He usually mentioned something each year about how he likes my sound. This year however he stated that members of the audience were commenting on how great the bass sounds!
Power and headroom were ridiculous.
First gig with the old school big stuff and we miked the cab instead of any direct connection and got great results.
Luckily the tech is from my generation so he knew exactly how to mic me.
Hindsight, I should have used the 270 with the 406w, but that’s waiting for next time.
270+406w for big jobs
320+402 for medium
Maybe next time.
Seen a crazy combo. Acoustic 360 into an Orange AD200, into an Ampeg 810. Wow!
Got to take the beast out for a spin last night.
How’d it sound?
Awesome. Dwarfing the Twin
This thread give me joy and really like all the Acoustic info here.
Pics because I can.
Thank you all!
I really do not like the poopie tolex.
Now look what you’ve gone and started...
Taken May 2018. Dinosaurs still roam the stage [ROAR!!]
That’s what I was hoping for! Very nice!
Took a gamble on this for really cheap after it sat in a storage unit for about 15 years untouched. Pots are a little scratchy and from what I've read, the 405 is a guitar cab, but wow does it sound huge.
I like it!
OHH IS IT A 371 rig?!
DID I GUESS RIGHT?
Yup, love your rig too!
Unfortunately the head has to go in for a spa day.
