Well, well. I only have three currently, if you count the Warr Guitar as a bass (its close) but I have eighteen tubes glowing in my rack. Does that count for something?? :D

  2. You still have the 8-string Warr that you were selling a while back? Are you still trying to get rid of it?

I guess I consider myself a collector more then a player, as I haven't been in an actual band for close to 20 years, but at last count I had around 100 basses (seriously!)

I only have 0x0010. Oh well, I'm looking around for another one.

Hey, I wrote the word "@$$" in binary on my arm the other day during school. Needless to say, not many people understood it. :p

Six is not enough. I'm currently fascinated by the Reverend Brad Houser...

...although I'd *really* like to have a 5-string bass that sounds like a Music Man. Sadly, I can't get a 'Ray 5 or a G&L 5 because 1.75" at nut is too narrow for me.

Going well, thank you. I really enjoyed seeing your "family photo" in the other thread, Brad. Beautiful!

  12. I have 23.

Mind you, ther are only 6 basses, but between those, and guitars, violins, and a mandolin, the total number of stringed instruments is 23.

I worked on one of Jason Newsted's basses once. Greg Rzab, who at the time was playing for Buddy Guy, brought it in to the Lakland shop for work, and I noticed that the bass had a bar code on it. Greg told me it was "for inventory purposes".

Apparently, the guy has around 2,000 instruments.
