    Hi!
What is the best 12" (néodymium) speakers for you to make a 2x12 cab?
I love the design of schroeder cab (the 1212 especially, with the internal speaker!) and I can't found them in France... So i'll try to make one by myself :hyper: .
I have already make a 12" cab with and eminence Kappa 12 but he is very heavy. And i want a lightweight cab! (16-20Kg)

    So for the moment i see the néodymium B&C 12NDL76 (400w, 100db, 50-2000Hz, Xmax:6,5 and 4kg)

Can you advice me some other good speakers?
    Thanks

The B&C 12HPL64 is even lighter (2.1 kg). I have a pair of those for an ultralight 2x12" project. It's still under construction, though, so I can't comment on the sound. You can use a fairly compact cab with the 12HPL64, so they would probably be good for a Schroeder-style project.

Hey, the real Psycho bass would know the answer to that question. ;)

I like them. 45litres each tuned to 51Hz gives you a -3dB point of 70Hz which isn't very low, so definitely use 2 of them. To me this speaker specs up very similarly to the Beyma 12LW30/ND which is also worth considering, especially since the lower resonant frequency and cab tuning will help with excursion at low frequencies.

The 12HPL64 is lighter, and likes a smaller cab, but it's -3dB at 83Hz which is probably too high for bass, even with 2 of them. To me this is better suited for PA.

I'm not a fan of the Deltalite 12's. On paper at least, their performance under large signal is not as good as the other speakers mentioned here.
