The best for sale ad ever!

  1. Some people stick a cardboard sign in the back window. Some even place a classified ad.

    Not this guy....

Funny, because my name is Tim, and I am an Aries. Small world. Ugly car.

    Now that is awesome....

Makes me want to get some video editing software to help me sell my old van lol

  5. Gotta give him points for creativity.

    Two questions:
    Did he sell the car?
    Did the ad help?

    Give him a call.

  8. 22HP? is that all? I bet the advert cost more to make than the asking price on the car!

  9. Oh my....

to explain it would be to kill the magic of it. ;)
Nick, it begs to ask, didn't you find that the least bit funny?

  10. I found it kinda funny, but he did a good job of showing off the car. Better than just putting a 'for sale' sign in the back window.

I don't think you want to get him on one of his rants.

That is indeed a great ad. It might've been better if he'd given it a name (i.e. my '88 Ranger is named the "Penetrator).

    Wait, you're still here? Interesting...

In one of my classes in high school we had to make an ad for a non-existant product, and we had to come up with the product as well. We "invented" a driveable cooler. Took about 4 hours, some editing and a few brews and it was done.
Kudos to him for thinking up something pretty cool.

Nah, I get what you're saying, I pretty much asked the same thing in my post anyway, so I'm a hipocrit :p

  17. When you have the power that the Aries K car puts out, you want people to know what you have under the hood. When you have the luxury of a bench seat, an FM radio AND a Map Light for night navigation- you got bragging rights, baby.

That ad is not tongue in cheek. You can clearly see the guy speaking with his tongue in it's normal and natural position.

  18. Sho nuff...I mean really...you DID notice that is an Aries K, yes?

That K is bling enuff to make me wanna smack my Momma. Shizzle!

    :smug:

That sled don't come frontin no Dubs. That there is old school, restin on 13"s. 13's is how we do. I'd put a set of hoppers in that.

  19. You talkin' 13" STEELS son.

  20. Man, those are RALLYs.... lol! Proppa!
