the best of these beasts ??

    which one has the widest tone range and best playabilitty for you guys??
    is there any better bass for that price range??

    Out of those, I'd go for the Roscoe.

    In that price range there are a lot of good basses. Which sound and feel best to you?

    thanx for your quick replies guys...:)
    i like to play jazz so MUch...but i need nice loww mid sound, nice growl too umm is not easy to mention it:p

    i've tried lakland skyline 5502 deluxe, nice bass, nice low B too, but i'm looking for something differrent..=)

    Both great basses, both versatile. Really, either of those could do all that you said, I was just having fun with the quotes function ;)

    I'd try to get my hands on both, because those are so good, it just comes down to personal preference.

    I'd personally choose the Roscoe. I really like Keith's work. And, while the others aren't bad choices, I haven't found examples of those that have ever made me drool as much as almost every Roscoe I've ever played.
