Evil Dead. Poor excuse for a trilogy, but hey, they're three movies in a row, right? :p

It's got to be The Lord of the Rings, at least until Fletch 3 comes out.

There's five of those. And only one of 'em has a movie.

It's clearly the Scary Movie Trilogy

  8. nothing comes close to lord of the rings in my opinion

  9. Oooooooo. Sorry. We were looking for Delta Force (with Chuck Norris). Scary Movie is a close second, however.

In my own happy little world the second two Matrix movies were never made, and the first one stands by itself as an awesome movie.

First of all, Star Wars does not count, there are at least 6 episodes...and the threat/promise of more.

    ;)

Secondly, the Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy is most certainly a Trilogy, Douglas Adams explicitly explained that it just took 5 books to complete it.

    Good call.

Funny, I'm not seeing a lot of love for Jurassic Park. For me, that's in the same category as the Matrix movies. :D

Yup. I refuse to believe there were 2 more made of both those movies. :rollno:

Did "Porky's" have a part 3? If so, put me down for that.

The Terminator trilogy should also be ignored.

Ooh! As long as we're pretending movies didn't exist, I vote for the Alien Trilogy. 'Cause the last one didn't happen, either. Nor did AvP.
