Sorry, can't help you with a number.

That is one tasty bass. You can't get much better bango for your bucko than a bongo.

Hey that looks familiar. Nice bass! I had to choose between the fuchsia and aqua. I liked the fuchsia the moment I saw it. I can't wait to get my hands on it. Gorgeous finish.

    Anyone replace their bridge?
I can't get over how easy string changes are on my dingwall vs the bongo. I really wanna swap the bridge for something a little "faster" or something.
Here's my BFR blush pink bongo
Ill get a nicer picture later

Nice Bongo! No need to swap bridges. I don’t change strings very often, and never in a hurry.

The other issue is using custom gauge strings. Sometimes I use thicc strings and it's a pain to feed through the available hole.

Nice! Looks like my BFR Pink Champagne Stingray Special, all they needed was to go overboard on this with the gold hardware. Hopefully they don't get any ideas, my wallet can't take that type of strain.

Ha i also have that one with stealth hardware on a bongo. It's a sweet color but not pink enough for me.

I haven’t replaced my bridge, but I use a very heavy set. I use a .160 B. A little drilling solved my problems. I do find the angle that is required to pull the string in or out to be a cautionary challenge. I usually put a cloth up to the bridge to protect the finish when changing strings. I’ve even seen some use blue painters tape below the bridge during a change.

Changing the bridge isn’t in my future, but many would. Rock on!

I just added a second Bongo... Truly a wonderful instrument! Here is a teaser and all the photos can be found in the NBD post linked here...

There's a difference when I keep the talent inhibitor on my 4003, and then some adds one to a bass that never had it.

  14. Apropos of nothing... Has anyone changed out the knobs on your bongos? I love the knobs on my Dod pedals or "Boss style knobs" and thought it would be cool on my bongos. Has anything had any luck with it?

    Hi all

How desirable is a mint 4 string HH fretless, Egyptian Smoke Finish at $1200?

  20. It didn't take long for the first new bass day of 2021.
In all its roasted Maple and purple sparkle goodness.
It was the deal of a lifetime for such a great instrument.
