I love that bass! One of the nicest KL's ive seen. I got it saved to my computer and ironicaly, posted it in a thread no longer than 2 hours ago. As far as being the most beautiful bass that has ever existed? I don't know about that one. ;)

That's an awesome bass but in my oppion this is the most beautiful.
  6. Definately "unique", and very pretty, but not the "most beautiful", yet. Too many others out there.

I like it, though. Very nice wood. Tried one???

Nah, I dig Ken's work but that one is not one of my favorites. But I'm happy that you like it.

To me it looks like a deep-sea fish, which would only be cool if it was irridescent black with little glowing lights.

I prefer the natural one that was on Bass Alone for a long time. That is still my dream bass.

I don't know if it's the nicest ever but it is a nice one for sure.

I recently bought back a chamberbass that we sold to a customer a few months back. Ken is such an amazing builder and this bass blows me away every time I play it. It's got an upright meets fretless electric thing going on that really rivals similar basses that I've heard. I always kind of regretted selling the first time so I'm keeping it for myself this time. :)

My opinion.........no! I agree that it is a work of art and probably took quite a while to build but it's not my cup of tea! Plus that off centered truss cover would annoy me to no end! Not digging the jack location either!

Not my style. I find it gaudy.
  17. Is that a Klingon bass? It is interesting, the bridge especially. I really wonder about what one of those will looklike 10 years down the road. The string anchor points look like an area that would get torn up. The bridge, withthat metal on wood stuff, looks like it would wear badly. And me, being myself, would probably get my fingers caught in those holes.

:p But they're the perfect place to keep your picks! Maybe a spare string or two. Some lego's and Cheerios if you have kids.

I can't get past the single cut design.
