  1. Jack's voice is about my favorite - I like his singing even more than I like his bass playing. I was an instant fan of the band - I was just starting high school when they hit the USA - and still love those early albums. Thought this video was interesting:

    Interesting for lots of reasons.

    Jack was just a fantastic rock singer as well as a player.

    Funny to hear the song about 50 dB lower than they usually play it. Not a lot of overdrive because theyre so turned down. In that setting, it's amusing to see Ginger beat the absolute daylights out of the drums.

    I try to keep up with as many things about Cream as I can and I had never even seen that before.

    Anyway, man... Cream on The Glen Campbell Show & live. Cool.

    Yes, the names "The Cream" originally.

    And, Eric used a Firebird for part of the Cream farewell concert too. Mostly the 335 at that last shom, but the Firebird pops up a few times in the (excruciating) concert movie.
