A friend has a SVT-410HLF and is getting rid of the SVT-VR on top of it. Right now the feet of the VR head fits nicely in those cup things (please tell me the correct term) on top of the cab, and the head never moves around. They're nice.

With his new head, the feet don't really fit in the cups. They kind of get in the way of how he'd like to line up the head on top of the cab, and make the overall setup kind of wobbly. Is there a way to remove these temporarily and/or fill them with something to stop the head from moving around?

Screw/Silicone/Double-Sided Tape rubber feet onto the bottom of the new head. You may need to put them in a different location (further in?) to avoid the cups on the cab.

You can get rubber feet at any hardware store of all different sizes and thicknesses.

If he decides to just try something simple, I'd think a black rubber mat (cut to size) would work and look nice.
