The D string on my washburn bantam is buzzing.

    I for got to mention this in my other post yesterday,but the D string on my new bass is buzzing at the 1st fret. I thought maybe adjusting the saddle on the bridge would help but it made it worse it seems. So what do I do about this? Thanks
     
  2. f the strings are adjusted too high, fretless notes lose their characteristic "buzz".

    When the strings are adjusted too low, the extra "buzz" chokes the note and doesn't let it "breathe"
