Wow that almost slipped by me this year.
who love's ya brotha!
I hadn't realized that either! This is especially interesting to me because I performed two of his songs in front of my school today, and I hadn't even realized that this is the anniversary of his death.
Thanks for pointing this out to me, I feel like I've paid a tribute to Jaco somehow.
RIP Jaco. You're the man, and you always will be.
He died in such a tragic way...
I just bought a fretless today! What a coincidence.
If I look at the replies at TB I'd say that his legacy is still alive and kicking.
Yeah he's more famous now then ever.
I among many others am grateful for the time that we had you. You opened the door for so many that came after you; a door few knew could even exist, much less be able to open it. We are eternally in your debt.
Be at rest...
died two days before my birthday.

Happy birthday Jaco. I wish I could've seen you play live; but one day I will.
Tell Jimi and Bonzo that I said "Hi!".
Er...this thread was started on the anniversary of his death, not his birth.
Who loves you baby, RIP
Ooops!!! Man, do I feel stupid. That's what putting in a 12 hour day at work will do.
Thanks for correcting me,
R.I.P., Mr. Pastorious.
Rest In Peace, Jaco!
