    A tad melodramatic perhaps.

But you can now download manuals for boss pedals from http://www.rolandus.com - I checked the vwah and me50b, so I'm assuming others are there. Bring up a product page, then there's a 'Manuals' link under Support. It's still a bit cumbersome ,as you have to register to download and then they email you a link.

There had to be a trick!!!! YOU HAVE TO PUT IN AN E-MAIL!!!! Ridiculous!!!! I hate my GT-6B almost as much as I hate Boss' customer "care" policies (no e-mails replied, deaf ears for every user's suggestion, etc.). I'm thinking of going back to a ME8B processor. Anyone has one that he wants to part ways with? Thanx!

On the other hand, if I could do this before, that would have kept me from buying some of Boss' products. :)

True, although I was more surprised they didn't charge me for it.

Not that I know of. I do know that you can purchase a VF-1 manual from Roland. They charge around $15 for it.

Thanks for the heads-up, I downloaded the TU-2 manual that I've been missing. The security options in the PDF file have been set so as to not permit the manual to be printed.

    What a dumba$$ move on Boss/Roland's part.

DAMN IT!!!! One more tricky aspect of Boss' devotion to customer care. I NEED PRINTABLE MANUALS AS I DON'T CARRY MY PC TO GIGS!!!! M@R@NS!!!! Anyway, I'll see if I can find a way to print it with some Linux app. I'll be in touch!

SOLVED!!!! Try using Passware Acrobat Password Recovery Key (also supresses restrictions on PDFs) or just ask for it (only if it is light enough to be delivered via e-mail, ok?). It worked for my GT-6B owner's manual. By the way... PHUCK BOSS AND THEIR CRAPPY (or inexistent) CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!!!

Sorry I omitted it, this is a Windows software.

Ctrl-PrintScreen and then paste it to a word doc. Print.

Well, spoke to a Customer Service Rep at Roland/Boss today, he confirmed that the online manuals do not allow printing. If you want a hard-copy of the manual, you have to send $7 (maybe other amount for other pedals) to Boss.

    Real smart, huh?

The password recovery utility didn't work, may need to go the Print-Screen route, an unnecessary hassle.
