I bought a used 2002 MIM Jazz off of a buddy, but really didn't like the black finish. So I repainted it, added some quarter pounds, and a kick-ass bridge.

Anybody else think the picture I took looks like a potato camera?

    May I be a member?
After changing the pickups, the knobs and adding an ashtray, here's my fretless MIM Fender JB.

Yo, yo, you my low end luminaries. As an owner of a Squire Vintage Modified V Jazz, am I allowed into this august club or need I apply elsewhere? I looked for a while to see a thread specific to this bass and didn't see one, but then again I'm new to this forum and need stronger reading glasses as well.

  8. It's a Jazz, so it's fine here. You should post a picture of it. There's also a five-string club which you can also join if you like.

Only when I click on it to see it’s full size. Shrunk down a bit, it’s fine.

As a fairly-well-trained amateur, my general rule is if it looks like it belongs on a blurry picture of Bigfoot :beaver:, a better pic has gotta be. That, and since it’s a film-less digital camera, I can afford to take a few extra “safety shots”. :snaphappy:

Thank you ! Glad to be here.
Playing quiet music on this bass brings me peace, it almost hypnotizes me. I love my Precision too but it's a different feeling.
When I was looking for a fretless, it appears to me that only a JB could do it the way I want.

Yes, RW. And no, I bought the bass (used) in a store and it had these pickups installed.
