Well, I started this pride in the US Made Fender club back when I was more bitter about the attitudes some had about Fender and their American made line... but now I'm a lot less stressed about it, but it seems like as a result of my founding the MIA club, we've not got some 5 or 6 other clubs that I've seen so far, so at least something else good came out of it..... more fodder for our signature blocks! :D

Anyway, I just signed up our 100th member, and Just wanted to share that.. :bassist:

MIA Club members, thanks for your support!

been traveling in Europe and India, just got back to where I have internet. I came across a guy in Milan who was toting an MIA Tele that he's had for 4 years and he told me there that in his opinion, there are few things made in the USA any more that are worth the money, but guitars are still on that short list..

I always thought Marcus Miller basses were CIJ. Are they also MIA? I'd be interested in taking a closer look at a (4).

Here's mine after I replaced the parchment guard with a tort one... I like it a lot better. Sucks that Fender discontinued this in the five string tho. I love mine!

  20. I would like to join. I traded a white w/blk pg Squire P-bass with duncan design pups, a dolphin gray w/blk pg Aerodyne jazz with barts, a black w/wht pg MIM jazz with badass 11, and a black w/wht pg Squire Strat for a 60th aniversary jazz bass with the series paraell switch! If that qualifies what number am i?
