Neither of those basses are exactly what I was expecting...but I am impressed. I can't wait to get my hands on the Harris signature bass. By the way, does anyone else think there is too much metal flake in the finish for the Steve Harris? It reminds me a bit of the Modulus Flea (F.U.) metallic blue..
That "Blue" metallic and Chrome pickguard has my heart fluttering... Who cares where it's made, just want a price and availability,,,
does anyone want to place bets on the expected price of the Steve Bailey bass? I say over $2000.00... possibly.. $2400.
But is the Bailey sig MIA? Because if it is, expect an astronomical cost for it. All I can say for both of the basses is.. It'a about damn time.
You mean Maiden Japan Speaking of which, I used to have Maiden Japan on vinyl. I lost it through the years and now I can't find those recordings anywhere. iTunes, ebay, Amazon. Too bad, those were great recordings. That version of Killers was my favorite.
Hmmm, they all leave something to be desired in the looks department to me, I don't really dig the Steve Bailey sig's pickguard and input jack and a Steve Harris signature with a white pickguard looks plain wrong to me.
better steve harris bass than the old signature model but still: they could have put a spb-1 in there instead of the spb-3. furthermore, the description of the string gauges is wrong. the good thing is though that it features a 7.25" radius instead of 9.5" and has a body made of alder and is not in lake placid blue. i really like to know the price tag for this bass since fender is going to up the prices 20% (or already have). what would you guys guess and when will we know? MIJ, MIA?
