The flakes are starting to fall...lets think about these instead.
never cared much for these, but i have to admit: they're good looking instruments! very nice!
Amazing work as usual StreetScenes. Here's my only flake.
Joe Walsh mis-quote.............."Hey man, I'm flakin' out!"
Picking up one of these guys on Friday! Squier Mikey Way Signature Mustang.
Why no black metallic flake? I noticed Warmoth does not have this color option, but I think a jazz in black flake would look awesome.
Thanks for sharing this. Maybe I would like itbetter with smaller flakes.
Personally, I'm a burst guy. All of my basses are bursts and that's the way I like it! However, I do think that G&L's flaked finishes are GORGEOUS!
Lots of other nice looking basses in this thread, too.
Those are beautiful!
Beauty! I see galaxies Extra nice with the maple fretboard.
Great thread, I'm bookmarking this one!
Only Flakes I got (aside from dandruff!)
Love these flakes too! Lol. But seriously, I do.
Great thread! I've been thinking of refinishing my natural VM Jazz with a flake finish but I can't decide on what color I want. It has a maple fretboard with black inlays amd binding and it has a tortoise pickguard and I really want to keep the pickguard on it. Any thoughts?
I love the look of flakes, but they aren't for me.
The only flake I ever wanted to own (and still do!) Is the one that Steve Harris use to play...Up the Irons!...
