    It’s not great quality video, but the song is something of a landmark. As far as I know, it was the first hit record that featured a bass guitar playing a low B. Andrew Gouche specifically mentions Robert Wilson’s detuning as an influence. Victor cites Robert Wilson as an influence too. Wilson had killer chops, but except for his plucked solo on Shake (1978,) we never really heard him cut loose on a recording.

    That was from their first album before they just pared it down to the Wilson Brothers.
