I always despised rap lyrics that really hyped up and portrayed the whole "money cash hoes" lifestyle, but the the geto boys, from the album i have (the resurrection), really shows the ills of this lifestyle, and shows no glory from coming from "the ghetto."

i kinda wish there were more of these types of groups out there, especially on mtv. Ones who show the ugly truths of gang warfare, as well as giving no glory to the whole "money cash hoes" lifestyle.

well.. anyone else like the geto boys?

    Geto Boys are classic.

  4. I guess Black Star falls into the same category in a way, talking about more serious affairs than the usual "bling bling". I ought to check out the Geto Boys.
