    The human body is strange.

So I woke up this morning with a killer stomach ache. I figured I must've just been really hungry. I went down stairs and had my self a delicious blueberry muffin from The Bakery. I noticed that this stomach ache wasint just a result of me being hungry, when I started to shake and felt weak. So after I finish eating I sat down and browsed TB mobile for about 20 minutes. I said to myself "Well, I guess it's time to go try and throw up."
And I did. It didn't want to come out, but man, I wouldn't leave that bathroom til something happened. Well after that I went back to bed and proceded to get up and go back to the bathroom at least 3 times. Each with no.. uhh.. "results."

So after eating a whopping 4 saltine crackers, and a few sips of Ginger Ale, I took a 30 minute nap and now I feel so much better.

However, typing this up kinda gave me a headache :smug:

The Human body sure is strange ain't it?

At times, it doesn't seem very intelligently designed. :)

It isn't the body that is strange, it's how people treat their copy.

  4. Indeed. Especially the shoulder joint. Extremely inefficient design. :)

Horribly inefficient. Right arm can't go back if it's all the way out ot it will dislocate. My left shoulder likes to dislocate itself at random.

  7. Ouch! A buddy of mine has this problem too. He didn't even know it was dislocated at first. He's so used to pain from "suicide migraines" that he just popped it in and out in front of the doc, who was horrified. He recently got an op and as far as I know everything's ok at the minute. Scary stuff though :)

Maybe the OP had gas. Normally it can be entertaining, but with pain it IS a pain.

Panic attack, maybe? I've had similar experiences and although I didn't feel nervous or anxious per se, my body was telling me a different story.

I'm not sure. I'd just woke up on a Sunday so I should have been pretty relaxed.

What amazes me is that I had this horrible pain, that went away after a half hour nap.

Were you drinking on Saturday night? Did you eat anything not too long before bed?

Fascinating story. So let me get this straight, because I want to make sure I understand this correctly. You woke up with a tummy ache. Ate something. Tried throwing up. Still had a tummy ache. Took a nappy and it went away?!?!?! That's amazing. You should totally start a thread about it. Oh wait.....

it's not the human body that concerns me.

    it's the human mind/brain!:(

the body is efficient enough as a vehicle, but we could all stand an intelligence boost. and please don't get me started on our emotional deficiencies!!! grrrr

The Human Body is much less an enigma than is the soul...
