I've read that the International Movie Database will be closing down their message board soon, so I'm in the market for a new forum to talk about films/TV. Some of my TV threads go down like a lead balloon here, so maybe it would be best for me to post about the CW's 100 someplace more relevant... Your incentive: If I find a great TV/Movie forum, I'll spend less time here, or maybe none at all.
What about a general movie discussion thread in off topic? There's nothing polarizing or controversial about it.
That's probably why they're doing away with them. I've spent time on a few show's message boards there & it's the same old crap over & over, especially on the SNL board. The biggest thing happening on the CHUD forum is people whingeing about the new Klingon look in Star Trek: Discovery.
I reviewed Reddit for gaming forums & they have a weird voting system where whatever has the highest votes gets to the top. This one for movies seems a bit better, I'll check it out.
The voting system is good. Takes good contributions and threads up top, hides trollish comments and garbage.
