I see the guitarist knows what he's doing.(Mesa head) Anyway, haven't you ever heard of a double bass pedal. Very much a possibility to this question. Unless clive has a really really really fast foot!

yes ive heard of a double pedal... my drummer had one...

i didnt think double pedals were around till the mid 80's though, and clive left in 83 or so...

i never saw a slave pedal on his kit

  11. First time I hear about them. Thanks for the link. I wonder when some threads will start if Mel uses two or three fingers to pluck :D

Neither Clive nor Nicko ever used double bass drums or pedals. Both of them have/had amazing right feet. And listening to any of the Clive stuff, there is no mistake that he was a single bass player. Nicko on the other had was the master of doing a triplet with one foot. I learned how to do it too, but not with the speed and accuracy that he does it. On the latest IM CD, you'd swear he was usuing a double pedal, but he's not. The man just has an insane right foot.

Poor Clive. Hope the MS doesn't get to him too badly.

  18. I lived in Holland in the mid-80's, we used to see bills with Priest/Maiden all the time - Priest/Maiden/Saxon was always one of my favs. They all kicked ass!

    7th Son of a 7th Son.
Probably one of the (Clive) Burr albums (the first three).
