The Little Beast

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by GreyBeard, May 3, 2003.

  1. Went up to PA last night to Swissvale music. I called a couple of days ago asking about a Bergi 112. The (part time) salesman quoted me a discount price of $429.00. I called a day later and talked to a (full timer) and he said that this price was a "computer glitch" and I would have to pay $485.00 and that that was still a good deal. Anyhu, I drove up to Pittsburg yesterday evening through the worst construction mess I've seen in years and bought the "little beast". I've been playing this same amp through my studio monitors (Alesis monitor one's) for the past 6 mo so I know what "Flat" sounds like in this room. The Little Beast has a bit of a mid-range boost but all in all I love it. A pr of these will be all I need for the rest of playing days.

Those are neat cabs, Greybeard. I like that head too. Neato schmeato!:D
  3. A Bergi 112 still sounds like a Bergi - fabulous, and I'll bet a pair would be awesome! Congratulations on your new "little beast". :bassist:
