Hey! I saw this video of a guy called Bill Clements. As a guitarist (who plays a bit of bass - bdaly), I had never heard of him. Then I saw this clip and it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen! Incredible playing with one hand. So I'm kindof interested in how anyone can do that. Yeah, he must have incredibely strong fingers but maybe he uses special strings too?? Special fingerboard?? How can he do that! Check it out here: http://www.amazed.tv (it's on the main page) If anyone can give me more of an insighrt I'd love to know. Cheers. Bob.
Bill plays standard 4 string fretted and fretless Basses usually tuned down to B E A D ,his strings are standard gauge and he uses the pony tail holder as a dampener(to keep the open strings quite) and all this with no special fingerboard.
just strong fingers, and good technique, if someone wanted to work out how he did it anyone would be able to do it but he does it very naturally. great bloke.
Hmmmm that simple eh? Well I can't even get a sound doing that! It really is amazing. The guy is genius.
