hi guys, i have to choose between three cabinets.
my main bass is a rickenbacker 4001 and i use an ampeg svt3 pro head. this new cabinet will be the only one i'll use in the next future, so it will be able to handle all the sound coming out from the svt3 pro. i have the following chances:

ampeg bse 410hlf at the corrispective of 825$
    ampeg svt 410 745$
    warwick w 411pro 700$

prices are translated into us $ from italian value.
i'll try the next week the three cabs, in the meantime i'll be happy to have your suggestion...
    as usual thanks a lot
  2. Me myself am partial to the ampeg, but whatever sounds the best to you is the one to go with. If you buy a 4 ohm cab that is all you can have because the head can't do 2 ohms, but if you buy the 4 ohm cab you can add another one later for more sound.
    Ampeg SVT-410HLF---4 ohms
    Ampeg SVT-410h------8 ohms

I run a 1969 Ampeg V4-BH through 2- Ampeg SVT Pro410 cabinets (I believe equivalent to the 410h??). I think they sound great! DOnt forget to check SWR equipment if you can get it! I may give up Ampeg and switch to SWR because they have such a great sound.
