  5. It is not short scale. It has a full 34 inch scale and I will be buying one in black just as soon as they will agree to put a maple board with black block inlays on it.:)

Scale is irrespective of the number of frets.

  8. I know, But I could always find someone with a geddy who is enough of a dufus to trade me necks.

P.S. If anyone has a geddy and likes rosewood I will take back my comment about you being a dufus. I didn't really meen it:) .

Judging by the price, I would guess its MIM. I would go with the red if I were you, the matching headstock is pretty damn cool.

Actually its CIJ. I've heard positive reviews of it so far. Fender should sell it in sunburst too. Only way to get in 3TS is through Ishibashi.

  12. Anyone care to comment on similarities between a Jag and a Jazz??? I've been wanting a Fender Jazz for while, but if the two are similar, I may change my mind.

Really? No sh!t...I might have to buy this thing.

  17. Thanks Johan, really appreciate it. Looks like It comes down to how much a maple board means to me, and if I want to go active or passive for the next bass... That bypass on the Jag is very alluring though....
