Hey, finally received my P-Bass. MIJ model with American P.U.'s. Enjoy.

  2. Ooooo!!! Purty!

I really want a P-bass, with blonde ash white finish, and a purple tortoise scratch plate... Too bad I can only get a MIM in plain white :(

    But that looks great!!! :D

I played a japenese squire p-bass, and man that was awesome!! Better than a MIM  the body curves.. well, it was as hot as me! :D
  3. Very nice.:D

Damn I want a P bass. How much more expensive are the MIJ's than the MIM's?
  4. Looks great, I like that color combination. Is it supposed to be a 70's?

    Congrats on a fine bass!
    Aren't the CIJ's just wonderful?
Yeah, the MIM's are "kid's stuff" compared to the CIJ's!
In fact, I'd honestly say that my CIJ is every bit as good as any MIA I've ever played (and I've owned 8 MIA's including 2 P's, 3 J's, a Strat, & 2 DuoSonics ).
Actually, good (no, great!) MIM's can be found. A good friend of mine has a very nice one (it's what made me want another P), but he tried about 40 before he found it, and I tried every other one in town and could not find one as good (that's why I had to get the CIJ, couldn't afford an MIA).

That is also what I noticed : my MIJ P is at least as good as any MIA I ever played (except, maybe, an old L-Series I played once a long time ago). The model I have has a thin neck and it's a great player. I went to an audition with it a couple of days ago. I plugged it on the mixing console using my SABDDI, and it sounded awesome.

    All the best,

Very nice bass..how do you figure what the bass cost on that site..do they have something that shows us currency.
  17. hmmm... does anyone know how different the '57 neck is from the '62? i don't want anything TOO wide but i really like the maple fingerboard.

The whole bass, including price of the instrument + shipment + VAT + custom fees, cost me around 700 EUR (= approx. 700 USD).

For those who want a currency converter :
