The New Victor Bailey Album? WHERE?!?

Discussion in 'Recordings [BG]' started by Stewmc5222, Jul 26, 2002.

  1. I've been a huge fan of Victor Bailey since I heard the title cut off Weather Report's Procession album. I have Bottom's Up and Low Blow, but I can't find That's Right anywhere!! Does anyone know who's distributing it?

While I'm on the 'obscure bassist solo album' tangent, has anyone got a copy of the Tom Kennedy outing, Basses Loaded? This guy is such a monster. His playing and tone with Bill Connors and Dave Weckl were really inspiring and I'd love a copy of his work as a band leader!

Alright, I'm outta here. Hope all's well for everyone,

    From the low end,

I believe ESC Records is distributing the album.

    I've seen Bailey's album @www.audiophileimorts.com
as a Euro import...about $20. I keep forgetting about it, it's on the list.

I do have Kennedy's Basses Loaded...he's definitely one of my favourites.
I would say Basses Loaded is mostly an acoustic Latin-Bop outing.

  4. thanks, timbre and JimK! I really appreciate the help. take care,
