OK, I did some digging several times and did not find a club specific to Accu-Basses. If there is already an Accu club, please merge this thread into one of the others.

In case you didn't know -- I'm sure many of you do -- the Accu-Bass is nothing more than Epi's Precision.

If you have an Epiphone Accu-Bass, you are free to join the club. If you have some other kind of Precision copy, there are better clubs than this one.

Post pics if you got 'em.

    Here's my 1997 Accu.

  2. i know, no pics, no bass.

but my first bass was an Epi Accu. all black, maple, matching pointy headstock. it served me well throughout the years, and is what i properly learned on. a very fine bass considering when it was made (late 80's/early 90's) and that it was a budget model. only thing that i'd change on it now is the pickup. the bridge on it (with those weird rounded saddles) was pretty hefty.

i eventually gave it away to an ex who was moving cross country, and moved on to other basses.

Ha, my first bass was an all black accu in a pj configuration. I could never get a good tone out of that bass. It's now in a landfill somewhere.

Mine actually has a decent tone, but it's finnicky. Call me crazy but it seems like somedays she sounds better than others.

I love how Epiphone had a series of Fender copies with the Accu Bass and the Fat 210.

    Wonder why they yanked them...

Hasn't everyone copied Fender at one point or another?

That's exactly like mine (only mine's a lefty). I paid $90 for mine and it's about worth that.

Just bought an epiphone accu bass today.

Can't wait to try it on my amp.

The last owner was a little rough so it needs of some loving.

I'm changing the pots, jack and wires for new one since they are broken.

    I'll post pics soon...

It's not much of a club if we don't speak to each other..

True, but there hadn't been much "club" activity the last few months. Maybe that will change.
