    Beautiful Anniversary

  3. My current gear, with Neostraps and Ergostraps
I traded a Site V7 vintage 5 string for that Bongo. Very good decision.
The Warwick still gets played the most. It's just too comfortable

There's a guy out there somewhere face-palming himself into a concussion

  7. I added a TC electronic BH 250 head and a little bit of money. I think it was a fair trade and I am happy with it.

The only thing, though, is that I find the string spacing too wide on the Bongo (and even more on the Site). I think that is the main reason I tend to prefer the Warwick

Nice! I have a Combo 300, it instigated my first foray into bi-amping. I also have a Peavey "The Bass" and you couldn't be more correct about tone for days! But the weight...

A few scratches and dings but overall good. Plus it was less than 400$!

I find wider string spacing makes slapping easier. Also allows for more aggressive playing style you don't have to worry about getting your fingers tangled-up in the strings LOL. And as with anything else the more you do it the easier it gets.

This seems to be the key with me. I'm not rich enough to demand the instrument conform to me perfectly, I have to meet it half way...
