I feel the complete opposite, playing low is super uncomfortable for me.
I like my bass to sit on me in or close to the same position as when I am sitting and practicing.

Well lets just say mine and Rob Trujillo's Warwicks are the same distance from the ground ;) W-HIKnbb_400x400. esp-mx220-eet-fuk-1987-xl.

Clearly this is in your humble opinion, and of course, as always, OMMV (Other's mileage may vary), just you forgot to mention it...

I have been cleaning up my basses and doing some cleaning and polishing and changing some hardware, so I figured I would post a few pics of the Warwick family. I have 10 currently, and have had probably close to 30 over the years. Here is a list of the ten I have now, front to back, with some pics:
    1991 Streamer Stage 2 4 String
    1995 Fortress One 5 String
1993 Fortress One Fretless 4 String
    1996 Streamer Pro M 5 String
    1990 Streamer Stage 1 5 String
    2003 FNA Jazzman 5 String
    2000 Infinity Limited 5 String
    1998 FNA 4 String
1993 Streamer Bass 4 String (rare)
    1998 Streamer Pro M 5 String
Don't mind the missing hardware, etc. on the last bass... It is currently being cleaned and polished.

Sorry for the crappy pics. Hopefully they can be seen. I have owned some of these for a while now, and some I have bought recently. Really happy with all of them, though I have my eye on a couple more so I will probably sell a couple of these to make some room lol.

Yeah that banner is sweet.... If I remember correctly, I got it MANY years ago from Dana B Goods, the old Warwick dealer in the US..... I think it was on eBay and I got it real cheap. That was the good ole days, when you could get them to ship you a tuner for free if you needed it, or get anything you needed quick and at a good price. They sent me several tuners and knobs and Just A Nuts for practically nothing at different times.

Not yet....... Waiting g on a good deal to come up for one..... But honestly I prefer older Warwicks over "newer" ones... I prefer anything pre year 2000.

Does anybody know right off hand what size pots the Warwicks are? I am interested in buying some knobs and I wondered if the shafts were 6mm or something different.

How does $2k for an $8k+ Katana grab you? Sadly, though, it's a 2007.

Trust me brother, I have looked at it several times before, and it is a beauty... Just not sure if I will like the tone of a Katana or not. I know you mentioned it's more of a modern tone instead of the traditional Wick tone. I have never tried one out, but would love to. But, worried about sinking 2 grand in one and possibly not bonding with it.

^^^^^Ditto! ...when Dana B. Goods was the US Distributor. I believe the tech’s name was Rob. He sent free or cheap parts to me all the time! Miss those days...

Actually it is going up for sale since I have two of them.... I am cleaning it up and polishing, and will add new strings, then post it.
