Thanks! Click on this link to access the Warwick Shop, which is where I got the wooden keys and truss rod cover:

    Parts for Basses

    Edit:

By the way, Warwick will now laser engrave the truss rod covers free of charge when you order one. So I ordered another one engraved for the Streamer CV 4 and also ordered Maple tuning keys and engraved truss rod cover for my Adam Clayton Streamer. :)

I picked up that ‘96 Stage I fretless on Reverb a while back. I have it dialed in real nice. Threw an OBP-3 in there last night. Sounds enormous.

How are the necks on a 2004 Corvette 5 standard? Are they thick?

    Thanks

While on the subject, does anyone have a spare electronics compartment cover for a mid 90's bass? One of the tabs snapped while I was trying to bend it back into shape 10 minutes after I took delivery of it... I would order new but I tried a brand new one on my '94 Stage II but it did not fit.

Mine is 2006. Ovangkol neck, Bubinga fret board Swamp Ash body
Thicker than my Dingwall & Sound gears, but about the same as my Sire V7-5.
Comfortable for me. It is my 2nd favorite ATM, behind my Dingwall ABZ-5

The cover itself won't fit, you have to replace the plastic frame too. Replacement unit is about $40, I'm actually in the same situation as you. I have a new unit arriving in a few days and will report back with if I had any issues. I imagine the problem could occur if the screw holes on the current model don't align with the holes in the body but I can always drill new ones. Either way, will report back. It's a 1995 Corvette for what it's worth.

The fretboard is Wenge, I have the same bass :) it’s not as chunky as others I’ve played.

The tab on the battery box cover snapped on my ‘86 Buzzard a few months ago. I bought the new battery box from Warwick (they were very helpful making sure I bought the right one, and yes, it was ~$40) and I was able to use the new cover without a need to change the box itself. Job done. :bassist:

If it is an 86 someone probably swapped the cover for a new one. That time frame has bolts you have to screw in instead of a snap on cover.

The battery compartment is and always was a snap on cover, and yes, the electronics cover is secured with screws directly to the body. There is no “electronics box” on my Buzzard.

Warwick calls the plastic frame for the body electronics cavity, alongside the matching plastic cover as a whole unit a "warwick electronic box". That's the official name of the item.
