You said you have it plugged into a power conditioner correct?
Also worth cleaning out any effects loops, sends, or returns the amp has. Those jacks often have switches in them to divert signal when the cable is plugged in. If dust, dirt, or corrosion builds up in the jack it can short, or half-short the switches making the amp do weird things. Start by just running a cord in and out of any of those jacks the amp has, that can often clear them out.
Yes but the whole thing started before I even bought it
I never put anything in any jacks except the headphones one
It is exactly this reason that the jacks can get dirt and dust built up in them
Okay! I did it and nothing so yeah
Again, ive had it for neqrly 3 months so this thing is spanking new... I think it just died prematurely
Does it make the noise through the headphones as well as through the speaker?
You could take the bass and amp to another location (friends house for example) and see if it does it there.
Have you tried another bass through your amp at home?
Have you tried another instrument cable? Also, what kind of cable are you using - make sure it's not directional. I remember some older Monster cables are directional. One side (I think it was the amp side) had an extra shield that was left floating on the instrument side. Get it reversed and you could have noise issues. It's a long shot, but I'm trying to cover all the basses. (Pun intended)
Edit - dont use older Monster cables as the connector tips had a habit of breaking off inside a barrel jack (like the ones used on Warwicks) and its difficult to extract it without destroying the jack.
Looks like they had one, but it sold.
Where’d ya find it?
The showroom sale at Thomann. There are still two SSII‘s left.
Where’s the showroom? Can’t find it online at their page!
Do s search for „Warwick Showroom“.
I saw and wanted the same one, you buy it so I don't plz.
Sure, I'll buy it. Can I borrow $6.4K? Ha!
Nope that part was my hangup too LOL
Did you guys see the showroom Infinity?
I did, but its missing those little metal pieces that keep me from sounding like complete crap when I play.
Other than that, its gorgeous
I tried it all to no avail.
The noise on headphones is almost completely gone and there is no noise at all coming when I go thru interface and laptop
Also I whipped out a tiny guitar combo, plugged in my bass and nothing. Quiet and no buzz. Its either my amp or speaker thats dying
Haha, my bad, didn't notice it was fretless!
